Mbanangwa Cynthia Kwilasya is a passionate compliance specialist with extensive experience in compliance management in multiple jurisdictions and sectors. She possesses a deep understanding of regulatory compliance issues, governance and financial services regulatory compliance, data protection, privacy, and anti-corruption regulations. Mbanangwa holds both a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Rhodes University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on regulatory compliance specifically within the dynamic Fintech industry.
Mbanangwa’s experience extends across various industries, where she has demonstrably led compliance departments. Her commitment to ethical practices goes beyond leadership roles. She actively participated in the IACA regional summer school, further solidifying her expertise in ethical anti-corruption compliance. Driven by this dedication, Mbanangwa became a GIZ certified trainer of trainers in ethical compliance and anti-corruption for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Her passion for knowledge sharing empowers others to navigate these crucial compliance areas. She coordinates all the firm’s training interventions for clients.
